Remember. Celebrate. Explore.
Andes is just starting to plan Memorial Day Weekend activities — but here’s a few to start you off!
Paddle the Pepacton
Saturday, May 25th, 11AM
Join us to kick off this year’s reservoir paddling season by paddling the beautiful Pepacton Reservoir. Join the Catskill Mountain Club for a nice scenic paddle on this pristine body of water. We’ll paddle for about 4 hours, including lunch break. Bring lunch, water and sunscreen. Provide your own CANOE or KAYAK or rent from a local business. We will launch promptly at 11AM at the Shavertown Bridge site on the Pepacton Reservoir. Life jackets required.
All boats must be steam cleaned prior to arrival on site and have a valid DEP access sticker. For more information on regulations please visit the NYCDEP website: http://www.nyc.gov/html/dep/html/recreation/cannonsville_boating_program.shtml
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
